Skiatook High School
has developed a drama and debate program which is highly recognized in the
state of Oklahoma. The Competitive Drama team is focused on performing an annual one act play and presenting solo/duet plays for local interscholastic drama contests. The Competitive Drama has been ranked as high as 3rd in the state in the last few years. Members of the team have won multiple state placings and championships. Additionally, actors from the squad have been selected for regional all star acting awards and 9 former members have received the State Superintendent's Award for Excellence in the Arts. The team usually travels to five outside of school performances a year. Collectively, the team has won over 30 team awards and more than 500 individual awards. |
